{"id":214,"date":"2013-04-23T17:57:18","date_gmt":"2013-04-23T17:57:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dev.vpnotaries.co.uk\/?page_id=214"},"modified":"2021-04-28T14:31:32","modified_gmt":"2021-04-28T13:31:32","slug":"legalisation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.vpnotaries.co.uk\/notary-services-london\/legalisation\/","title":{"rendered":"Legalisation Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>What We Do<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If your documents need to be legalised or apostilled our notary will be able to liaise with the Foreign Office or the appropriate embassy or consulate on your behalf.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Most of the documents that you\u2019ll need notaries for are for use abroad, often by lawyers, courts and official registries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Quite often, they will need your documents to be not only notarised but also attested by the Foreign Office, by the embassy of the country where the documents will be used, or frequently by both. \u00a0For some countries, a confirmation from a chamber of commerce might also be necessary for commercial documents or invoices.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We can handle all these steps for you or, if you have the time, advise you on how to do it yourself.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hague Apostille<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is an official certificate that the Foreign Office will add to the back of some documents before they can be used abroad. It is usually known simply as the \u2018apostille\u2019 although sometimes it is called the \u2018Hague apostille\u2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We deal every day with the Foreign Office and we can use both their standard and their fast-track routes to obtain apostilles for you, depending on how fast you need to have your documents back.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Consulates and Embassies<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We are also very familiar with the procedures used at the different embassies and have an excellent set of contacts within the various consulates in London. We know their different requirements, prices and turnaround times.
